Over time, I’ve learned that nothing erodes culture more quietly than distrust, often paired with a subtle loss of respect. It seeps in through silence, guardedness and judgment, replacing collaboration with self-protection. True respect isn’t politeness… it’s recognizing the worth of others, even in disagreement. As a coach, I see that rebuilding culture starts within. When leaders lead with authenticity, clarity and presence, they create trust-rich spaces where people feel safe to speak, challenge and grow together.
